For the past twenty years Bob has been researching, studying, and playing the music of islands from around the world. He's worked with many fantastic artists from numerous cultures, but cites meeting René Lacaille as "the third major life-changing musical experience" of his life. A multi-instrumental wizard from L'Ile de la Réunion, an island 600 miles east of Madagascar, René blends African and Sega rhythms to accompany his French Creole-accented vocals.
