CD Review: MAHIMA
Absolutely stunning collaboration between Brozman and Bhattacharya, whose own slide work (on Indian and Western instruments) is a match for Brozman's own. And when the voice (of Bhattacharya's sister) comes in, it's a trip through acoustic Bollywood - she simply has that ingenue quality. Musically, this is spectacular on every level. Brozman's done plenty of excellent duo discs before, but this just catches fire, making it one of the most remarkable works in an exceptional canon, where India meets the Pacific (and places far beyond).
